Coming from a cupcake fanatic, I was extremely disappointed. The presentation was nice but the icing was dry. I got the lemon and the strawberry cupcakes, neither one tasted like their name. All I tasted was sugar sugar and more sugar. SUGAR RUSH is hands down the best bakery in Houston. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this place that has no flavor.
Came on a Sunday at 1p and doors were locked. I was trying to get cupcakes for a birthday. Their hours say 12n-7p on Sunday. This is very frustrating!!
I was so excited to see that Gigi's makes gluten free cupcakes! Make sure to call ahead to see what gluten free flavors they have because they only had chocolate available. The cupcake was extremely moist and did not taste gluten free. I'll definitely be back to try their other gluten free flavors.
Their cupcakes are pretty. But, too much icing and having the same flavors all the time make this a place I use as last resort. Recently got their cheesecake, which they usually have limited selection or none, only to realize it was frozen
Went there today after my sons doctors appointment. We got a couple.of different cupcakes. We brought them home and was amazed on the taste. We all shared them. I was so suprised on how moist these cupcakes were. I think the names were the princess, double chocolate, a sprinkle one, wedding cake, and the last one has a wonderful pecan frosting flavor. There was a lot of frosting, but that was the great part. Love them will be going back.
