Great place to take young children. Kids can learn about paleontology, geology and other natural sciences, less about anthropology and civilization in the main museum. There's even a mini air-fueled planetarium which is sorely in need of updated films.

A good place to take the kids once in a while. We went on a Sunday at 12pm and the place wasn't too busy. It's local and easy to access from hwy 59. If you are trying to figure out where to take the kids this weekend and don't know where? Release them here.

My kids love this place. We have been members for 2 years and it never gets old. Love the dinosaurs, butterflies, theaters, and all the new exhibits.

Smaller than main branch of Museum but we loved the many interactive exhibits for the kids. They were more age appropriate than the Children's Museum.

I prefer the size of the main location, but the Sugar Land location is perfect for young kids. They have a "Dinosaur Dig Pit" ($5 extra) that the little ones absolutely love. The Planetarium has several educational shows that are still pretty interesting and a couple that are decidedly young-kid draws (Big Bird, for example).
