We went to this store Sunday around 6 ish I didn't get our cashier's name but my receipt says James .. we normally go to the Pasadena one but we were in the area... He was very polite and engaging asked me if I bought all of the different dia de los muertos coloring books and I hadn't (so I might be back soon to get any I don't have) and he even managed to sell us a bottle of wine ... Overall the store and bathrooms were clean all of the associates seemed polite and helpful and I would definitely go back love this store

This 99¢ Store has a very nice variety of goods. Many of them are well worth the price.
Honestly I love this store because it has SO much. So many different things that you wouldn't expect and their seasonal aisle is awesome! The ONLY reason I have it 4 instead of 5 is because usually the cashiers (mostly @evening time) are rude in the sense that they don't say hi and barely even acknowledge your existence. Even when I greet them they don't always respond. No eye contact and I've even seen one guy on his phone and he had no sense of urgency coming to check me out. I'm sorry, I've had cashier and restaurant jobs and I've never been like that, so I can't be cool with that kind of service. Other than that, though, the store is clean, well organized.
