After my family lost our old vet for our thee dogs, we went shopping for a new vet. We thought that having a vet at the same store we buy our pet supplies would be convenient - we were sorely mistaken.
Save your money, brixton and other private places are better. Spend your money where people actually care about you and your pets.
On our second visit we found ourselves waiting 3 HOURS in the waiting room. Clearly frustrated, we were seen by the regional manager who just happened to be there that day. He promised us that this was an unfortunate isolated situation and that it would never happen again. He lied. On EVERY subsequent visit (scheduled of course - which apparently doesn't mean anything to these people), our wait times varied from 1 to 2 hours before being seen - even by a nurse. We of course would have never returned, but our plan was expensive and we needed to at least try and get our money's worth.
Our last visit (that they scheduled after insisting that we needed it) involved us coming in for a heartworm test that wasn't even due - thereby wasting our time - and after they admitted that the scheduling was their fault, we were told that even if it was due, the plan only covers one heartworm test a year and that if we wanted them to do it that day (the day we got our 3 dogs out to them in the pouring rain), we would have to pay extra for it.

With the exception of Stephanie, the CSC, this place has the worst customer service ever! The staff that I have encountered are rude and some even appear as if they are incompetent. The manager, Chris, seems to not care when you speak to him with his in one ear out the other attitude. I have been here several times and there is always something that happens or they forget what I have asked for them to do. They NEVER answer the phones and once even flat out told me that they did not have an appointment available as a drop off without even inquiring about my pet and her plan or what she needed. They just don't care! When my other pet had surgery, I waited all day for them to call me and I ended up being the one to call at almost 4 PM only to be told that the doctor had already left and that I needed to pick up by 5:30. Banfield is a corporate money driven machine and the Sugar Land location is a joke. I understand that it gets busy, but at the cost of being rude to your clients and not remembering what you and the client talked about when they drop the pet off on a consistent basis is a problem. I would give negative stars if possible.
Terrible costumer service.
The people running this Banfield should be embarrassed and ashamed. And Pet Smart should seriously reconsider their involvement with Banfield.
Banfield has rude employees who just want money, not to provide costumer support. I was to receive a manager call back and have been waiting 2 days to resolve my issue with them.
Our first visit went well and we were sold their "wellness plan", a one year maintenance plan that covered vaccinations and a variety of simple tests. It went down hill form there.
I used to back banfield 100%, now ill have to speak and spread the opposite.
We had a great experience there with Dr. Daubula (spelling probably incorrect) she was went over all of our concerns, answered all of our questions and spent a lot of time with us. We have come back with our other dogs and have gotten the same great care. We however went to schedule their next appointment and Dr.D is not there anymore, We hope that we will receive the same great service but she was a special vet who went out of her way for the animals she treated.
This "hospital" is a disaster.
And if it wasn't bad enough, they over-vaccinated our Dane which required an afterhours visit to a local pet emergency clinic - $1000. Banfield's record keeping was beyond shoddy as they never knew which dog was due for what. We had to correct them several times.
