Great staff! And the staff in the meat department always happy to help cut up the whole chicken so I can make my world famous chicken curry!!
I asked for the manager and Alec arrived. I told her the food was 120 and her response was, “How would you know that?” with an indignant tone. I told her that I asked the attendant and she replied, “It’s not her job to temp food for you”. She more concerned about my asking her employee to check the temperature then the safety of the food. I asked her what the temp should be, and she replied “135”. Obviously, she hasn’t been trained in food safety or customer service.
Awesome whole foods. Beyond the ones I am use too. Smoke house bar with tv's. It's as much a restaurant as grocery store.
We went to the Sugar Land location for breakfast and the food on steam table was cold. I asked the attendant who wasn’t wearing gloves to temp it and it came out at 120 which is in the danger zone (should be over 140). She told me it was 140 when it came out of the kitchen and I should microwave it.
I sat there and watched while my wife shopped, and they never removed the food and continued to serve food that they knew was dangerous.
Love It! Always clean and friendly, sadly they close pretty early but I did a fast run that took 10 minutes! I never have to wait too long in line, always find something new and exciting.
Love the selection, and the health conscience of the products they offer. However some of the food items, such as the rotisserie chicken is bland most of the time and on the dry side. Also with the purchase by Amazon, the company advertised lower prices to be more competitive. Example would be regular distilled white vinegar was around $3 but in other stores the average is $0.90-1.00.
