HORRIBLE The staff is rude expect for the gentleman at the front desk and the big boss the cafeteria staff was singing and dancing around the ac isn't working correctly and the care for patients it's very poor
The kicker is, he has been at St Luke's for a week, has seen no hematologists, all his labs are normal, Health South sent over no records at all, and he is going to a different rehab tomorrow. Never to go back to Health South. Why did they send him away - I don't know. But I wouldn't EVER trust that place again - don't you.
My experience was not good. The rehab part was very good, the nurses/aids were great. The management leaves everything to be desired. So because of what the management did, we will never recommend or go back there. You can't control or even reason with the management, so you give up good nursing and rehab care.
I was at this facility last year November. I had Tess for OT, Jeff PT & Jessica for speech therapy they was amazing. Ms. Janice and the others I named they all go above and beyond their job this facility is amazing the nursing staff is wonderful also even dietary comes to your room they're very friendly the cleaning staff is very friendly and they keep the rooms and everything sanitize very well. Also I'm about to go back into therapy this week even though it's some close to me my choice was to go back there that way I can feel safe and I know I'm getting the best care that I possible can get I recommend this facility to everyone that I know need therapy. I know it's some names I did not remember to mention but everyone that work with me except one CNA they address the problem with that person immediately I give everyone else 5 stars!!
The management called me on a Friday night and told me my husband was being moved to St Luke's. I asked why and was told it was abnormal labs and he had a fever. I asked if he could go to Methodist, they said Methodist was full. I asked if he could go to Methodist ER and they said it was not an emergency. I asked if he could wait for a bed at Methodist since it was not an emergency, and none of his drs went to St Luke's except primary care. The abnormal labs would need his hematologist and he doesn't go to St Luke's. They didn't care. They said he has to leave. I asked if he could go somewhere else, Memorial Herman, they said he can't stay. I asked to speak to the dr and they called back and said he is going to St Luke's. I believe by then he was already gone. I tried calling our hematologist, he was out of town and his fill in didn't go to St Luke's. This was about 6:30 Friday night. I tried calling St Luke's and was told he wasn't there. Finally I got ahold of his primary care and told him the story. He said he would go over and find out. He called me back saying that admitting told him it was for Mental Confusion. Finally at 11:30 I got ahold of someone telling me he was in Room 415.
