Friendly service. Good location. Close to the galleria, only a few miles away. Right off highway 59 and highway 6. Quiet location. Nice paths for walking. Has a nice pond and fountain to relax around. Has an upscale feel to it. Upper floors have a gray view of the surrounding area, including the highway 6 shopping district. Nice restaurants close by.
Stayed 1 night for an assembly. Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were very clean. Beds super comfy. Nice breakfast!
The Hyatt Place was much nicer than I anticipated. The rooms were large, clean and tidy. The service at the front desk was great and all the staff were friendly. I would definitely come back and stay again if I was in the area.
The staff at the hotel bar do not check on you enough, I'm constantly having to track one of them down to get anything. There are no microwaves in the rooms, you have to go downstairs. I could not find a menu at all for room service, I had to call them just to ask what they had. The hotel is in a great area, but it just seems that it is not very "user" friendly for guests. Seems like we as guest have to go out of our way just to find something simple or to get help. It's almost as they are using their location to try and back it and not put anything else into it. I wish it was better because when I fly in to Houston it is only 2 miles from my office!
I stayed here during a National Guard Mission. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was clean and very nice. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place as well as plan a return visit.
