Mike went out of his way to help me with my flat close to closing time. Service was above and beyond. Everyone was very friendly with customers at the desk as well. Highly recommend Firestone if you need tire service.
they did tire installation work fine but their employee had a very bad attitude. I had a Land Rover LR4 with 4 authenticate aluminum stem valve caps. I have one new tire installed in this store and when the job was done and paid, I found they put a new cheap plastic cap on instead of using my original one. I was asking the guy where the original one was and he blamed me not telling them to keep the original one. I told them it was so obvious that my aluminum one had much better quality and looking no even mention to match the other 3 wheels. This should be a common sense for anyone. Instead of me telling them to keep the original cap why didn't they just ask me when they tossed it. Anyway my cap was recovered but it was an bad experience with this store and employees' attitude really bothers me and I will not use them again.
So when I confront the manager about why they didn’t inform me he tells me this story of how the tires are fine but........... they have some guidelines they can choose follow. I ask why I wasn’t told about getting new tires and he says they aren’t required to tell the customer of all services on fleet vehicles. Which doesn’t make sense since I’m the person driving the vehicle and waiting the extra time so they can do services I was never consulted about.
I was fortunate to arrive and they weren't busy, so my inspection was comprehensive and fast. Good job.
I brought my work vehicle into firestone located at 3815 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478 to get an oil change and headlight replacement. I waited for 2 Hours before I asked the manager why it’s taking so long and he says it’s the fleet company we are waiting on approval to do these services. So I call the fleet company to ask why I’m having to wait on approval to do a oil change and a headlight replacement and the fleet company informs well sir you’re also getting 2 tires replaced (my tires are fine with good tread) 30,000 miles on 60,000 mile tires. This is how these places are ripping off fleet companies. They had no plan on telling me that I was getting two new tires replaced also that day. I found that out when I contact my fleet company. I am sure they had no plans on telling me about getting news tires because it was so easy to rip off the fleet company since they aren’t present in the store. They were racking on services to my fleet company without telling me in the store without any regard to my time so they could make a buck.
I’m thinking guidelines to Fraud fleet companies.
Spent 4 hours for an oil change and new tire after being told 45 minutes. Lazy or incompetent doesn’t matter. Drive 5 more minutes to a better service.
