Horrible customer service. I was just in here with my mother. We both had arms full of clothing. No one asked if we needed help or offered to take some items off of our hands. After an hour of trying on clothes, getting our own replacement sizes as needed while in the fitting room, again, because not one of 4 associates bothered asking if we needed help, we finally had at least $400 of clothes picked out. While standing at the counter, getting ready to check out, NO ONE in line behind us, I asked about the bra sizes. The associate pointed to the bras and the sizes, then turned around and WALKED OFF. I asked a question about the sizes and she never acknowledged me or my question. Needless to say, after a not so nice expletive from me, we grabbed our jackets from the counter and left everything. I am a regular Avenue customer, but I will NEVER go back to this location. If you are nearby and thinking about stopping in, go to your maps app and find another location. This one is NOT worth the time or money.
Also note that their air conditioner has problems working so the store is very hot. Expect to sweat while shopping and trying on clothes. Be sure to wash new clothes before wearing since you don't know who else's sweat may be all over them.
I'm not plus-size, but they have some of THE cutest jewelry pieces I've come across. Staff could be friendlier. There is also a such thing as reverse discrimination. Plus-size customers look at me, like "what are YOU doing here?". But, shopping is shopping. And great bargains RULE---no matter what the store.
Store is fine, beautiful clothes... I give them 3 star cause the clothes is expensive and the online return policy it is ridiculous took me over a month to get my money back.
I agree with the other post - terrible customer service, especially over the phone. And, no, they are not helpful in the store either.
I also agree with the other two reviews; the customer service at this store is the worst I've seen in retail. I was in the store yesterday to make a return and look at some other clothing. The manager was very loud, bossy, and rude. She refused to make eye contact or address me. The way she treated the clerk at the counter was painful to watch. She refused to listen to anyone, and it took all my patience to not go off on her. I then wanted to try on something I had found in the window. The manger barked at one of the associates to help me. The associate helped me, but was unfriendly, did not make eye contact, and did only the bare minimum to help me. No one in the store smiled; in fact, their expressions and demeanor was hard to be around. I finally just left and went elsewhere.
