Beware of this Hospital. Especially if you are 68 years old and have no family around at that time.
First I'd like to say that the person that fell in her kitchen, there are certain protocols in the ER that take time. If a pt requires surgery, unless it is a dire emergency, the pt may need to wait until he is fasting status, or the dr finishes office calls. It is also a concern as u mention shoulder pain and sacral pain. Two totally different things ( which) you may have had. Sorry for your poor experience.
EMS was excellent. They helped me by arming the Alarm System and kept me comfortable
Dr. Wood is the BEST.
I had knee surgery in this clinic wonderful results wonderful doctors now I'm needing back surgery and I'm going to one of the other doctor he's very nice very kind talk to you so I would recommend this office to anybody
Aug 6 2015 Thursday. . Confused. Moved to room on 4th Floor. No doctor again
. Called him through the nurse line. He had been on the 4 floor but he had not even come to see me.
This Doctor is the worst I have encountered. I was admitted at the Sugar Land METHODIST Hospital. I had fallen from a ledge in the kitchen while fixing a light bulb.
Can't say enough good things about Dr Wood.

I have found his medical office/practice to be efficiently run by excellent assistants. They have always made time to see me and have helped me to feel far more confident about my health.

Dr Wood is very compassionate. He made sure my mom did everything else before he would do surgery. Today, you would never know my ever needed back surgery. Thank you DR WOOD!!!!

Aug 7 2015 Friday. I was told that my Sacrum did not have any fracture. So Dr Oloou had thought, I had a fracture.
X-rays and would help me. I was stuck to the most uncomfortable bed with holes in the Bedsheets
I have had 2 back surgeries with Dr Wood. I say, considering the condition of my spine, have been successful. He is extremely knowledgeable, yet takes time to explain tests, results prognosis, other expectations. What pleases me most is that he is a Christian and prayed with me before my surgery. He and his staff and other drs that assist him at Methodist were all wonderful .
They wanted me to pay for Transportation with a Private Home Health Care Provider for $19.00 per hour. Total charge would be approximated to be $100. 00. I had to request the Person in charge to Notify MTM so they could come with their ambulance

. At the ER on Tuesday August 4 2015 at about 2.50 pm. ER was slow. They just left me in a room for almost 4 hours. The nurse who helped me with a bedpan, spilled the Urine on me while doing her job. Disgusting thing. The least said the better. Was transported to room # 650 and had to beg for something to eat. Shower process was so painful and agonising. Still they were attentive.
