I have never heard where you have to pay for the perscrition to get your glasses somewhere else. This is rediculous.
The experience here was a great one and a blessing. Theresa Leung who was the doctor my boyfriend and I had an appointment with. She was very knowledgeable and caring. After the visit she called personally the next day to check on my boyfriend and to see how he was doing.
While the people at Dr. McMenemy's office were nice enough...I am not at all pleased with the service when it comes to trying to fit with contact lenses. I was basically told that only one kind would work and not given any other option other than going back to glasses. No one is willing to see if the script is right...look at my eyes again..nothing! I know what I can and cant see properly. It makes a person wonder what is going on when only one type of contacts are pushed on you!? Now to try to get help elsewhere I will be forced to pay out of pocket completely! I will never go back and will advise friends and family to go elsewhere unless they already know they are super easy to fit.
One of my employees went here for an annual eye check up and she was charged $500+! She had vision exam insurance but was told at check out that they didn't take that insurance. I looked up the doctor on the carrier site, and he did accept that insurance! He basically performed additional exams on her without telling her that they weren't covered on her insurance. She was expecting to pay a $10 copay, so you can imagine the sticker shock when she was checking out. She said that Dr. McEnemy was rude and arrogant toward her, and the front office seemed unorganized. I won't be sending any of our employees there for sure.
