The park is nice and big. Never really too crowded unless there are games going on. You will have a great time.
Nice little playground for my toddlers to play. And the park was nice. The only downside was the restrooms were not very clean and the pavilions weren't either.
2.5 miles walking/jogging trail, nature at its best, greenery, small creeks, open pastures and resting places wth water fountains, security alarm buzzers, pet friendly, next to Rise soccer club's soccer grounds... easy to approach from HWY6... what else do you need?
The soccer fields in this park are amazing. there are two open-to-public fields at the other side of the park with does not need permission. but the rest of them are rented by clubs, so you can't officially play soccer in them. The trails is great. we either bike or skate-blade in it. The pavillion and playground get really crowded on the weekends. I guess little more area designated as covered area for public would be a great added value to this park.
So much fun! Good trails but since it's by water, there can be mosquitos. At night, you can see fireflies! The waters have kids of turtles and the occasional alligator. I've seen snakes here too but they stick to their own agendas and won't mess with you if you don't mess with them.
